The above photos help illustrate some potential advantages of pressure washing reclaimed timbers and lumber.  The photo on the left shows some 12" x 12" timbers reclaimed from a California construction project.  The photo on the right shows 12" x 12" timbers from the same source which have been pressure washed.  Pressure washing can help to:
 

1. Clean up old timbers and lumber;
2. Bring out nice brown tones in the materials that are pressure washed; and
3. Increase color consistency in a timber/lumber package.
